Job Description


  • To demonstrate strict adherence to all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) & job aids whilst following all applicable health and safety requirements

  • Ensure that adequate supplies of clean, dedicated glassware, equipment, raw materials and consumables are available to allow efficient and effective production within the manufacturing areas

  • Processing of cleanroom glassware and processing equipment ensuring all items are scrupulously cleaned and inspected prior to storage or use in the manufacturing areas

  • The use of chemical agents as directed by Supervisor or Senior during cleaning operations, after receiving the proper instructions and training

  • Ensuring all equipment returned to storage is fit for purpose and dedicated equipment is segregated and labelled correctly

  • To undertake wall washing to a height no greater than body height plus an arms extension from floor level, during routine cleaning programmes

  • Maintaining sufficient stocks of disposable Personnel protective equipment (PPE) within the manufacturing areas for manufacturing personnel.

  • Ensuring supplies of clean room clothing are processed correctly.

  • To maintain the cleanliness and integrity of all the clean room areas to minimise the risk of contamination

  • Perform the daily, weekly and quarterly environmental cleaning tasks and adhere to the rotational disinfection plan schedules

  • To accurately document all activities and record results in line with company documentation practices

  • Maintenance of personal training folder in an auditable state at all times by keeping abreast of all recent revisions

  • Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers

  • Supporting the Dispensary team in functions such as re-stocking supplies, picking items by location and following any other Dispensary related processes as and when required

  • Undertaking any other reasonable duties which may be requested by the Senior Technician or Supervisor, for which training, and/or an explanation has been provided and understood
