Job Description

Activity Instructor (Creative)

Activity Instructor roles at Camp Beaumont deliver 3-7 specialised activity sessions a day. A background in the subject area is beneficial. For this particular role, a qualification in the subject area is required but not compulsory as we can provide training. When Activity Instructors aren’t running sessions they will be supporting the Group Leaders and helping with camp operational duties.

Well, why not apply to become a Camp Beaumont Activity Instructor! You’ll be responsible for a group of children, initiating games, helping with activities and ensuring the welfare needs of all children are met. You’ll also play a key role in liaising between Camp Management, parents and Group Leaders.

About you:

  • Be a UK/EU citizen and have lived within the EU continuously for the last 3 years
  • Experience working in a camp environment with children/young people
  • Great teamwork skills
  • Over 18

What we do at Camp Beaumont:

At 16 great camps based across London and the Home Counties, we make sure children are cared for in a safe and happy environment,while trying new activities and making new friends! We’ve been caring for children for over three decades and continue to be an excellent service to parents to provide childcare over the school holidays. All of our camps are fun filled, and we’re experts in making the school holidays extra special.

Successful candidates are required to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure. You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with Camp Beaumont.

Qualifications

  • If successful, you must have permission to work in the UK by the start of your employment
  • You must be able to speak English fluently
  • You must be currently living within a commutable distance of this vacancy
