Job Description
To be trained in the following job duties:
- Data input duties and to assist with the preparation of reports using College Information systems
- Taking telephone and other telecommunications messages
- To undertake general filing of electronic and paper correspondence for Directorate / Department
- All non-confidential word processing
- To assist staff in preparation of learning materials (where appropriate)
- To facilitate the use of a Multi-Functional Device (MFD) for Directorate / Departmental staff
- To keep Directorate / Departmental notice boards up to date
- To assist with enrolment (including evening enrolment in August / September each year)
- To support staff in receiving visitors to the Directorate / Department
- To actively show a commitment to the Directorate / Departmental Strategic Objectives
- To show an active commitment to the College's Equality and Diversity Policy, Quality Frameworks and Health and Safety Procedures
- To actively participate in Continuous Professional Development including the introduction of new technologies to allow you to contribute effectively to the success of the College
- To carry out such other appropriate duties commensurate with your skills, knowledge and experience
- The College may, in consultation with you, need to vary these duties from time to time in order to respond to the changing requirements of the College
