Requirements & Qualifications
You will need to have obtained or be studying towards at least 260 UCAS points (pre 2018 A level results) or 104 UCAS points (2018 A level results) (or equivalent). You must have achieved at least a grade 4 (C) in English language and at least a grade 6 (B) in Maths in your GCSEs (or equivalent) and have at least a grade C in one A level in a STEM subject.

Today’s highly complex investigation and litigation environments, along with technological evolutions in areas such as big data, cloud and the pervasiveness of social media, continue to present challenges to digital forensic practitioners. You will be working within a team who deliver quality services to our clients in an ever changing environment.
Your professional experience
Our Digital Forensics team collects and analyses a variety of data types in response to a number of issues, including regulator requests, litigation procedures, data theft or destruction investigations and cyber incidents. We support corporates and their legal teams through the data collection and investigation process, helping to shape their strategy and leveraging technology to gain efficiencies and find evidence.
We utilise industry leading software platforms, supplemented with our in-house customised enhancements and our extensive experience to meet the most challenging and wide reaching data discovery requests. You will work alongside specialists drawn from a wide range of backgrounds who are delivering a wide variety of Digital Forensic services.
In your role as a Digital Forensics technician you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining hardware and software in our forensic lab environments to help our team to conduct digital investigations.
- Testing and maintaining digital forensic equipment in line with advancements in technology.
- Assisting in data collection activities such as evidence handling and client data deliveries.
- Supporting the team in the handling and management of evidential data.
As part of this role you will undertake a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician apprenticeship.
