Job Description

Reporting to the SEO Manager, we’re looking for a Junior SEO Executive to help deliver world-class organic performance across campaigns to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic junior, potentially graduate level candidate, who is looking to take that initial step into SEO and build their career in digital marketing. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for online technologies, is skilled with data, and is inquisitive of best practices in SEO strategy and campaign management. Previous on the job experience is not required, but the ideal candidate will have dabbled in SEO as well as the tools and data platforms used to deliver successful organic performance.



Most importantly, you’ll be a go-getter, a great communicator, and ideally have the desire to progress into a client-facing campaign or project management role within SEO. You should certainly have a love for and understanding of the digital landscape and may have studied digital as part of your degree.



You’ll be working with exciting and varied brands, and your skills will be nurtured and developed. This is a great opportunity to work within a close-knit multi-disciplinary team, working on various SEO projects, as well as day-to-day SEO management. You’ll receive on the job training as well as getting stuck into client activities from day one, With the support of your team, you’ll play an integral part in the successful implementation of campaigns from concept to completion.



Key Duties:



Data analysis



You’ll be responsible for conducting keyword research and analysis, as well as supporting with technical SEO and backlink audits for our client’s websites. Crunching large data sets won’t faze you and you’ll need to have the ability to provide clear actions off of the back of your analysis, using it to target selected groups, and provide insight into the success, or failure, of campaigns.



Technical SEO



Working closely with the Senior Technical SEO Analyst, you’ll be taught best practice SEO strategies in order to provide your colleagues and clients advice on how to overcome technical obstacles and challenges, and how to implement these changes in order to drive organic growth. You’ll be expected to keep on top of best practices in SEO, new technologies, and ways of workings, as well as support and contribute to technical roadmaps, and own daily technical checks using a wide range of industry tools.



Communication



Great writing skills are a pre-requisite but you’ll also need strong speaking and presentation skills. You will be expected to effectively communicate to your colleagues, both within the SEO team and also other departments, to ensure briefs are understood, deadlines are met, and client objectives and performance is defined. As you progress within the agency, client communication will also become important to your role.

Skills Required :

  • Likely to have a degree, with an understanding of marketing and the digital landscape

  • A working knowledge of SEO, or a strong desired to learn

  • Previous experience optimising a website or personal blog

  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
