Job Description
The post holder will provide a high standard of comprehensive administrative support, tasks including:
- Prioritising own and manager’s activities
- Organising meetings to include; collation of agenda items & paperwork, circulating agreed minutes for public, external and internal meetings
- Organise and support event planning
- Maintaining filing systems both electronically and paper based
- Dealing with routine enquires, in a pleasant and helpful manner either by email, post or by phone, referring to others as appropriate
- Ensure outgoing correspondence is produced to a consistently high standard
- To photocopy/fax, email or post documents as requested
- To work in line with CCG policies and procedures at all times
- To provide secretarial cover and general administrative as required
- Establish and maintain effective filing and retrieval systems
- Assist with the regular production of reports as directed
- Produce letters, reports, papers and minutes to a high standard
- Order stationery, office equipment/telephones/computer equipment where necessary
- Use the full suite Microsoft Office functions
- Other duties, commensurate with the post, as directed by line manager
Personal Qualities :
- Organised
- Logical
- Methodical
Skills Required :
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills
Future Prospects :
Progression within the company and to level 4 available for right candidate.
