Here at Aintree Racecourse, home of the Randox Health Grand National Festival, we are looking for enthusiastic, committed and friendly team members who want to join our world class catering operation working across our retail and hospitality areas to deliver outstanding customer service.
We would like you to join our team working at one of the World’s most famous sporting occasions – the 2019 Randox Health Grand National Festival, taking place between Thursday 4th April and Saturday 6th April 2019.
You will also be able to join our team for future events across our other racecourses including: Aintree, Carlisle and Haydock Park to work on race days, concerts, conferences and events.
Positions we are recruiting for include:
• Bar staff – in both retail and hospitality
• Wine Waiting staff – beverage service in our fine dining
restaurants
• Box waiting staff – working in our hospitality suites
• Kitchen porters – supporting our chef teams in back of house
operations
• Cellar porters – supporting our retail beverage functions in both
public bar and cellar operations
• Cashiers – assisting with commercial responsibilities in hospitality
areas
• Team Leaders – leading one of our retail areas, including bar and
food outlets
Duties include:
• Taking food and drink orders and making recommendations that
delight our guests
• Serving excellent quality food and a fantastic range of drinks
• Working safely and maintaining the highest standards of
cleanliness and safety
• Working alongside our amazing team and creating memories in a
friendly and fun environment

Be flexible to work across multiple work roles
Have an ability to deal with customer queries efficiently
Be able to form strong working relationships as part of a team
Experience isn't essential as full training will be provided
Qualifications
- As a person, you must: 18+ years of age Have a welcoming and approachable manner Show a high level of confidence and personality Be flexible across multiple work roles Deliver an outstanding level of customer service Have an ability to deal with customer queries efficiently Be able to form strong working relationships as part of a team and with management You must be over 18 to work in a capacity serving alcohol. Experience isn't essential as full training will be provided.
