Job Description
Working in all aspects of the hospitality industry the successful candidate will learn a wide range of food preparation and cooking skills. In addition, the apprentice will serve customers displaying fantastic customer service and communication skills.
The apprentice will be trained in all aspects of a professional catering environment including:
- Food preparation and cooking
- Customer service
- Health and Safety
- Team work
- Time management
Duties include:
- Working in a team
- Preparing and cooking a range of hot and cold foods
- Following food safety and health and safety procedures
- Arranging the service area to present food in a professional manner
- Receiving deliveries
- Serving customers
- Handling cash
Personal Qualities :
- The right attitude, a positive work ethic and the ability to communicate with a range of people are the most important skills.
