Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Apprentice to join our dedicated, high performing Supporter Services team who are responsible for building a fan base of the future as well as retention of existing season card holders. We are the first point of contact for supporter queries and feedback. Along with organising match day experiences within our Generation Red Family Zone (GRFZ) and 12th Man Bar, our team are also responsible for organising other match experiences, supporter events throughout the season and charitable donation requests. As part of the role you will be required to complete a level 2 Apprenticeship in Business Administration. 



The Role:




  • Administration and co-ordination of match experience activities

  • Assist in the setting up and delivery of matchday activities supporting the continual improvements to the match experience under the instruction of the Head of Supporter Services and/or Supporter Services Officer

  • Assist with the setting up and delivery of special supporter events

  • Establish successful relationships with supporters

  • Ensure emails and letters are answered within 5 working days

  • Answer the telephone and where possible assist with supporter related queries or forward to the relevant person/department

  • Ensure that the donations database is updated accordingly and the fulfilment of agreed donation requests


Personal Qualities :

  • The ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail

  • Customer focused with a friendly, professional, flexible and hardworking attitude

  • High level of honesty and integrity

  • Be flexible to the needs of the business and be prepared to work weekends and bank holidays

  • Be prepared to work towards a customer service qualification



Skills Required :

  • IT literate and familiar with Microsoft Office software eg. Word and Excel

  • Prepared to work towards a customer service qualification

  • High level of interpersonal skills, as well as excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills



Future Prospects :

  • Ideally required to drive as may need to travel to one of the Club’s other sites eg. Training Ground, Herlingshaw Centre or where supporter events are taking place
