Job Description

We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic person who can be developed into a valued team member.

Full training will be provided on all aspects of the role and more!



Some of your main responsibilities, once trained, will include:




  • carry out duties such as telephone, reception, purchasing, post, filing, letters, keeping records, etc.

  • HR tasks including preparation of person specifications, job descriptions, statement of terms, maintaining staff records (e.g. sick leave, holidays), staff inductions, issuing kit, organising staff training and social occasions

  • organise staff training and development initiatives

  • undertaking ISO internal auditing

  • making inventories of equipment, checking it, and keeping records of calibration and servicing

  • administrating of company accounts, payroll, invoicing, and VAT

  • assist with keeping the company vehicles up-to-date with tax, insurance, MOT, and servicing and ensuring that they are roadworthy at all times

Personal Qualities :

  • highly motivated

  • an enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn

  • must be patient, courteous and able to work on your own initiative with a precise and methodical approach

  • ability to work well within a team is essential along with the ability to seek guidance from senior staff where necessary



Skills Required :

  • strong Microsoft Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite skills

  • good organisational skills

  • excellent attention to detail

  • possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • ability to work to deadlines, and adapt a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business



Future Prospects :

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the employer may take on the successful applicant on as a permanent member of staff.
