Job Description

Duties include:




  • Working with the Operations Manager to deliver a first-class retail experience whether online or instore

  • You will be supporting with Shop Floor sales

  • Customer Services queries

  • Interacting with our customers to provide them with helpful information to address their queries regarding our products/services, in addition to picking, packing and scanning of website orders

  • Providing the customer with the best possible experience, resolving any issues quickly and efficiently

  • As we are a seven day a week operation you will be required to work some weekends



Henmores is a multichannel retailer, specialising in Lifestyle and Country Clothing and Footwear, with brands such as Ariat, Barbour, Dubarry, Joules, Hunter, Schoffel, Seasalt and many more.


Personal Qualities :

  • We have a unique opportunity available which will allow the ideal candidate to be able to study for a Level 2 Customer Service qualification whilst also receiving the National Minimum Apprenticeship Wage

  • This person will be able to gain a qualification whilst gaining practical experience with training on the job by the fully trained in-house staff, but also with a fully qualified Tutor/Assessor

  • The ideal candidate has had customer service experience and has the ability to be proactive and work out many different functions across the retail mix from shop floor sales to customer service and orders



Skills Required :

  • As comfortable helping customers on the telephone/online chat as face to face selling

  • Making certain that customers feel positive that enquires and complaints will be dealt with in a competent manner

  • Proactively keeping customers fully up to date at all times and notifying them of any known issues or information that may conflict with their requirements or cause any delays

  • Listening to customers’ requirements effectively and efficiently and where necessary implementing actions accordingly

  • Selling product and taking payment, both instore and online

  • Pick, process and prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule

  • Receive incoming deliveries, following the correct process

  • Follow high standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

  • You’re a fast learner and eager to learn new things in retail/ecommerce, with a commitment to lifelong learning

  • You like the proposition of being a part of a rapidly growing retailer and want to be able to make a difference
