Business Communications Apprentice (Business Admin)

Job Description

This role will see you work on all the Council's websites and be at the heart of working on programmes to improve the way that our customers interact with us. The role is varied and will give you the opportunity to work on a range of projects in the Communications Team.



While completing your apprenticeship, your day to day duties will include, but are not limited to:




  • Data inputting and processing

  • Assisting with telephone enquiries and emails

  • General office administration support such as taking notes

  • Assisting with arrangements for internal meetings

  • Attending the Council's Information Governance Working Group meetings

  • Logging issues with websites

  • Helping to process data in the Council's e-form system, including creating new forms

  • Ordering consumable goods and supplies for the communications team

  • Helping add content to Council websites

  • Helping to create content for social media

  • Updating text and carrying out corrections on designed documents



The working week is Monday to Friday and will consist of 37 hours per week. Your working hours will be discussed at interview if you are successful.
