Job Description

The role will be office based but there may be occasional need to travel to clients or events and exhibitions.



Full training will be provided.



Main responsibilities:




  • assisting with the day-to-day sales tasks, processing orders and payments from customers

  • following up and posting brochure requests from customers

  • answering e-mail inquiries and incoming calls

  • adding website orders to our database

  • processing returns and liaising with customers

  • making up gift boxes and allocating stock to them

  • processing tickets and credit notes on our stock system


Personal Qualities :

  • Demonstrates an enthusiastic and friendly approach

  • Can remain calm when under pressure

  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative to drive own sales performance against agreed personal targets

  • Is able to work within a small team

  • Has a willingness to learn new skills and undertake appropriate training

  • Is willing to undertake all tasks required, including maintenance and cleaning



Skills Required :

  • Has a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), email and the internet

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Has a good standard of numeracy and literacy



Future Prospects :

  •  An opportunity to progress within the business on completion of the apprenticeship
