Job Description

In this job you will develop to:




  • Plan, organise and manage resources, understanding how to manage your own time to deliver successful outcomes

  • Initiate, lead and drive change

  • Lead people, communicate and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders, customers and suppliers

  • Undertake the management of budgets, the delivery of goals and progress reporting

  • Become more self aware

  • Be part of the Hovis Apprenticeship Team, working on projects which will improve existing processes or practices 

  • Complete individual projects for your chosen function to introduce new ideas with identified benefits

  • Work with functional specialists to gain an in depth knowledge of your chosen function, undertaking real job roles, to achieve an all round appreciation of our business

  • Study for the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship programme

  • Engage with the Hovis vision and values

  • Work towards achieving appropriate technical competencies for your chosen function

  • An individual with a keenness to learn, understand and question to improve things

Skills Required :

  • Enthusiasm and an interest in a career in FMCG and food manufacturing in particular

  • A proactive approach to finding solutions both creative and practical

  • A good communicator, engaging and influential with peers and who demonstrates self awareness and the ability to build relationships

  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
