Supporting in the administration of membership services, including:
- assisting with the processing of membership applications
- assisting with maintaining the membership database and hard copy files
- issuing membership certificates
- responding to membership enquiries
Supporting in the organisation of educational events, including:
- assisting with the marketing of events
- assisting with the event administration
- registering delegates, including taking payment information
Assisting with the administration of the postgraduate training scheme, including:
- registering candidates
- maintaining and distributing programme information
- monitoring candidate progress
- dealing with relevant enquiries
General duties:
- answering the telephone and directing calls
- receiving and distributing post
- managing general e-mails and distributing appropriately
- assisting with membership communications and mailings
- organising catering and preparation for internal meetings
- assisting with financial administration
- data entry
Supporting the team with ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Personal Qualities :
Previous work experience in an office environment is helpful as is customer service experience. A genuine interest in wanting to work in an office is essential.
