Job Description

Supporting in the administration of membership services, including:




  • assisting with the processing of membership applications

  • assisting with maintaining the membership database and hard copy files

  • issuing membership certificates

  • responding to membership enquiries



Supporting in the organisation of educational events, including:




  • assisting with the marketing of events

  • assisting with the event administration

  • registering delegates, including taking payment information



Assisting with the administration of the postgraduate training scheme, including:




  • registering candidates

  • maintaining and distributing programme information

  • monitoring candidate progress

  • dealing with relevant enquiries



General duties:




  • answering the telephone and directing calls

  • receiving and distributing post

  • managing general e-mails and distributing appropriately

  • assisting with membership communications and mailings

  • organising catering and preparation for internal meetings

  • assisting with financial administration

  • data entry



Supporting the team with ad hoc duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.


Personal Qualities :

Previous work experience in an office environment is helpful as is customer service experience. A genuine interest in wanting to work in an office is essential.
