Job Description
Our operations supply and waste teams are responsible for ensuring that our networks run smoothly and our treatment works operate efficiently. You will work alongside a variety of our operatives across the region.
This two-year apprenticeship programme will provide an excellent insight into both waste water and water supply within the operations business. During your time with Wessex Water you will rotate between both departments.
Across the roles you will learn about biological and chemical processes, maintaining our assets and improving efficiency at our treatment works and pumping stations. You’ll also develop an understanding of how to maintain our network of sewerage pipes and systems, along with repairing and maintaining our water distribution systems. All the roles involve working with large and small mechanical and electrical systems.
