Job Description

To undertake duties associated with general office duties within busy offices:




  • To assist with Reception duties, being the first point of contact including helpdesk enquiries

  • To support the Student Data Team with the below data entry

  • Input, coding, and checking for accuracy application, enrolment data and learning agreements

  • Input achievement data and to update Qual Aim prints

  • Update and input achievement data onto EBS from exam documentation audit prints and assessment boards

  • Input exam data onto EBS

  • To input, update, amend and assist with the verification of data requirements for the relevant funding body returns for all aspects of the college’s business

  • Ensure data compliance; accuracy and archiving are all undertaken

  • To assist with answering the phone and ensuring messages are e-mailed/passed to relevant persons

  • To assist in the application process, from when the student applies to providing the student with an offer

  • To assist the Student Data Team Leader in any duties which they require

  • To assist the Student Data Team in Checking and sorting of completed exam papers, and to arrange the parcelling and despatching of these papers to examining bodies or designated academic staff responsible for assessment

  • To help the Student Data Team record the examination results in EBS and sending out certificates to students

  • To undertake collating and filing within the office

  • To process twice daily in coming post and passing to relevant officers

  • To assist with processing outgoing post

  • To assist with clerical and word processing tasks

  • To assist with data entry tasks

  • Processing and recording orders

  • To ensure and maintain confidentiality within the working environment at all times

  • To maintain attention to detail and efficiency within the work you are required to do

  • To undertake training to become familiar with and actively use the databases specific to the areas in accordance with College regulations

  • To assist other departments as required on a rotational basis

  • To support any team across the College as and when required

  • To ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations



General: 




  • To work as a member of a team when required in support of shared objectives, including routine tasks associated with the regular upkeep of working areas

  • To ensure compliance with statutory regulations and to be fully conversant with specific regulations applicable to individual areas

  • The ability to respond to changing requirements, however these may be caused

  • Excellent time management
