Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Administrative Apprentice to join our award winning friendly Finance team. We are looking for an individual with good communication skills and an eye for detail who is dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated to become our new Apprentice.



The successful candidate will provide business administration support to a busy Finance department and Deputy Director of Finance.



The role will include




  • Input and support to accounts processes

  • Monthly financial reporting including data analysis

  • Administrative support to Finance Department and Deputy Director of Finance

  • Working to tight deadlines

  • Finance ledger

  • Procurement systems

  • Payroll systems

  • Word processing

  • Spreadsheets

  • Email and Outlook

  • Answering the telephone



The role will include using various systems and software i.e. Financial ledger system, and Microsoft Office applications i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook email.

  • Keen to develop own skills and knowledge

  • Positive attitude, motivated and enthusiastic



Skills Required :

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes

  • Professional manner and self confidence with ability to remain calm under pressure and work within different levels of external and internal stakeholders

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain an effective working relationship

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Good IT Skills, speedy and accurate keyboard skills, ability to develop presentations

  • Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail with the ability to organise time effectively and prioritise work

  • Must be willing to travel to work a different locations
