Job Description
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing them to the correct person. Making calls when requested
- Greeting clients and visitors to the office and making refreshments for visitors as required
- Providing general administrative support including, filing, scanning and photocopying. Sorting incoming post and stamping and posting outgoing post (one minute’s walk from our office)
- Bundling and indexing legal documentation
- Opening and maintaining client files
- Dead filing of files
- Some audio-typing for solicitors
- Ad-hoc administrative duties as required, i.e. liaising with clients and third parties via email or telephone to assist solicitors with progressing legal work
- Later in your apprenticeship you will be assisting with the preparation of legal documentation and legal research

- Self-motivated and ability to work on your own initiative, but also as an effective team member
- Conscientious and punctual
- Willingness to help in all areas
Skills Required :
- A willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Proficient typing and IT skills
Future Prospects :
- Progression to paralegal would be considered for a person of ability
