Blacklight Software are an innovative software development and integrations specialist house established in 2008. As a forward-thinking technology sector-based business, we develop software from scratch or from a Microsoft platform to fit each of our clients processes to drive savings and increase productivity for clients across a wide range of industries. Our clients include: The FA, Joules Clothing, Sulzer, Hermes, Benoy, ITV and Airbus to name a few. Tasks to be trained in

You will be working alongside existing staff and be mentored and trained to carry out the following duties:




  • Writing for social media, blogs and client engagement

  • Writing for marketing materials including brochures and promotional materials

  • Creating and managing marketing campaigns

  • Competitor analysis and reporting

  • Working with marketing activities including SEO, PPC & Google Analytics and reporting on this data





Training to be provided:

Level 3 Digital Marketer

Principles of Coding

CIW Social Media Strategist

Digital Marketing Business Principles

Principles of Online and Offline Marketing Theory – Part 1 and Part 2

External Assessment, Synoptic Project and Overview

 

Skills and qualifications required:




  • Dedicated, reliable, honest & trustworthy

  • Enthusiastic attitude

  • Passionate about marketing

  • Great written communication

  • Works well independently and within a team

  • Preferably 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent/predicted

Salary, hours and benefits




  • £153.75 per week

  • Full time (37.5 hours per week)

  • Monday – Friday 9.00AM – 5.00PM

  • 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

  • Perkbox membership

  • in-house training

  • Ongoing mentoring & in-house workshops

  • Microsoft product training



There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.



Location and travel 

This role is located in Wakefield near Outwood Park and is easily accessible via a range of public transport including the 425,103,481 and 103 bus and there is a free onsite car park for those who drive. There is a café onsite and local cafes in the area also.
