ResponsibilitiesAs a stockroom controller within Karen Millen you will be working in a busy, fast paced and hands on environment - a basic level of fitness is essential due to the volume of delivery received into store
You will be responsible for the processing the delivery, putting away the stock in an organised and timely manner as well as carrying out regular replenishments to ensure our beautiful product hits the sales floor in a timely manner in order to service our clients.
You will need to know the product like the back of your hand and be commercial when making decisions and organising stock. You will need good organisational skills and work in a professional manner at all times.
As a stock room controller your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Processing delivery and paperwork.
- Organising the stock and rearranging layout to accommodate volumes of core categories.
- Ensuring the stockroom is clearly labelled and in numerical order.
- Being enthusiastic at all times and able to work at a fast pace.
- Being responsible for the transferring and receiving of stock to and from other stores.
- Being available to support on the sales floor when necessary and offer great client service.
- Being able to work on your own as well as in a team.
- Being responsible for your own development where necessary.
- Being adaptable to change and thriving under pressure.
- Being responsible for your own time management and achieving all required objectives set.
- Being available from 6am in the morning and available to work overtime when requested.
- Willingness to work late nights when required. (Usually prior to the Christmas Period)
- Training and Coaching all team members to ensure they comply with required standards.
