The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this fast growing business based in Loughborough. They are recruiting a Data Analyst Apprentice to work in the Analytics and Dialler Department, alongside the Data Dialler Manager and real time function. You'll be supporting a busy multi-channel contact centre and telesales operation.
Skills you will need to demonstrate:
The Apprentice will study towards a Business Administration Level 2 qualification
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and running of bespoke KPI dashboards and statistics of the business performance
- Produce ad-hoc reporting as needed, driving data driven business decisions
- Assist in the creation of Business review decks, in order to understand performance
- Support the creation and improvement of Pricebooks, allowing Outbound agents to sell in the most effective and accurate way
- Support the dialler team on a day to day basis
- Feedback key insights to the senior management team

- Skills you will need to demonstrate as part of the qualification:
- Key to the analytics team operation is the use of SQL server management - This can be learned as the role progresses
- Attention to detail, as well as excellent written and verbal skills
- Self-motivation and being a team player will be essential in order to learn and develop new skills
- As part of the qualification the successful candidate will undertake meaningful project duties that have been agreed with the employer. The project duties are now a requirement of the Business Administrator Standard where the candidate will be supported throughout by their employer and work based learning tutor.
The Business:
- As an integral member of the Analytics and Dialler departments, you'll be supporting a busy multi-channel contact centre and telesales operation
- Day to day responsibilities will include the running and maintenance of regular and ad-hoc reports. Assisting the analytics team in the extraction, preparation and collation of key data sets and KPIs. Other activities will include working alongside the Dialler team and real time function, optimising and loading data sets ready for the operation
- The ideal candidate will have basic excel and Microsoft office skills, but a proactive attitude to learning these skills is the essential. You will develop advanced Database management, including SQL server and reporting platforms

Personal Qualities :
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
- The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge of these platforms, but more important will be the ability to take a proactive approach to learning these and other systems
- A basic understanding of databases and the utilisation of data
