Job Description

Sales Executives, Customer Advisors and Parts Advisors.



The programme in short is as detailed below:



Year 1




  • The successful apprentice will undertake a level 2 qualification in Customer Service

  • You will be based at a dealership and will spend 4 months in each of the above roles. During your placement into the roles you will be given some key targets to achieve and demonstrate your learning within the role.

  • At the end of the 12 months you will be assessed to determine your target role which will be either as a Sales Executive Apprentice / Parts Advisor Apprentice or Customer Advisor Apprentice. Consideration at this stage will be performance in role / preferences / skills match and availability.



Year 2





  • You will go on to complete a level 3 qualification in Customer Service with modules more closely aligned to your target role.

  • You will be placed within role based on the previous year’s assessment

  • Renault UK will provide role specific training to enhance their learning experience




The benefits that apprentices have working with RRG are:




  • Friends and Family purchase scheme – after 3 months service the employee is able to purchase a Renault vehicle at preferential rates. These offers are also extended to family members and/or friends of the employee.

  • Apprentice Loyalty Programme – Once an apprentice reaches 8 years’ service with Renault Retail Group and providing they have completed the manufacturer apprentice programme, they will receive a lump sum of £9,600 on the 8th year anniversary.

  • Can opt in to the company pension scheme. Due to their age they will not be auto enrolled but they can chose to start paying in early. Within the scheme the employee pays in 4% of the apprentices annual salary and the company pays in 4%.

Skills Required :

  • No specific skills required, however an interest in Customer Service would be beneficial



Future Prospects :

Permanent role may be considered once the apprenticeship has been completed.
