Company DetailsThe Boundless School's mission is to transform the lives of at-risk youth by providing extraordinary education opportunities towards the attainment of a full high school diploma. We further hope to equip young people with the skills and resilience to navigate their mental health challenges and strive for meaningful lives. By supporting students to attain their high school diplomas, their risk for future criminality drops dramatically. By teaching youth at risk to overcome obstacles in their everyday lives; by giving them a chance to control impulses, treat others with civility and kindness; and by being relentless in expecting they learn basic and complex life skills, teens emerge from Boundless with improved relationships with their schools, families and their neighbourhoods. Our “classroom” is a 600-acre piece of paradise in the Madawaska Valley of Eastern Ontario, where kids spend a minimum of five days and up to three hundred days of intense learning, outdoor adventure and personal development. The outcomes they achieve are transformational and astonishing. |
