Over the years the small sailing school on the beach at Rockley Point in Poole has grown to become the largest and most highly regarded sailing centre in the UK with thousands of people passing through its centres every year. Now with a further centre in Poole and 3 activity centres in southwest France the family-run company now employs some of the most highly qualified, experienced and dedicated watersports professionals of any centre. In addition to our training courses we also offer activity holidays to school groups and family watersports holidays. Our season at Rockley Watersports runs from March through to October. Throughout this period we offer flexible employment opportunities and the possibility of full time employment for the right candidates at the end of the season. During high season we employ up to 150 seasonal members of staff. OUR CENTRES We have centres situated in some of the most beautiful parts of Europe which offer the ideal environment for the teaching of all watersports from dinghy sailing to surfing. French Centres All our French centres - Le Lac Mimizan, La Rive and AzuRivage are set in southwest France amongst beautiful pine forests on the shores of warm, freshwater lakes and are fringed by sandy beaches. Based on 4* campsites and with a range of activities and amenities on site, all our centres are also a short distance from the local towns. The long sandy beaches of the Cote d'Argent lie just a few miles from our centres. Well named with 100 miles of silver sand stretching from Arcachon in the north to Biarritz close to the Spanish border. The wild Atlantic coast with its rolling waves is a surf mecca throughout the year. With the many beach towns offering an exciting mix of cafe society and laid back surf culture there are few cooler places to 'hang out' and is the perfect environment to be in when you are not working. UK Centres Our sailing centre in the UK is set in beautiful Poole Harbour and is close to the bustling port of Poole where you will find a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars. For the windsurfers and kitesurfers amongst you, wander down to Sandbanks and join the rest of the crowd or take a short drive to Kimmeridge bay and indulge in a bit of surfing. Rockley Point is the ideal centre for all levels of watersports.
