Today, Bucksmore Education provides 18 different courses in 10 different centres, with more English with specialisms, academic and pre-university courses than ever before, as well as a variety of home tuition options.

Bucksmore Education is full of history and tradition, but also of originality and challenge. With over 35 years of experience to perfect and improve the quality of our prestigious summer schools, we are proud of the summer programmes we offer. It is our goal for each one of our courses to be the best course that our students have ever attended.

Bucksmore Education are hiring engaging, motivated EFL professionals for memorable BC accredited Junior programmes for summer 2017 in prestigious residential settings around the UK.

English language teaching staff should have either the CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL or a PGCE in English, Modern Foreign Languages or Primary Education. Counsellors are responsible for planning and delivering lessons from the Bucksmore syllabus. Counsellors also take part in activities and pastoral care, thus playing an essential part in ensuring that students who attend our programmes have an unforgettable educational experience in a safe, caring environment.

The Director of Studies is responsible for the academic management of the centre and ensuring the teaching and learning component of the programme is delivered to the highest possible standards. A DoS needs to have good inter-personal skills, a high level of teaching experience, and be an excellent organiser. A DELTA, Trinity Diploma or MA TESOL (with teaching practice) is an essential requirement as well as the ability to manage and support a team of teachers.

The position of Activity Manager (AM) is a highly responsible and challenging role, suitable only for those with excellent leadership, communication, time management and organisational skills. Activity Managers must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the operational aspects of a residential summer school.

Further to this we are looking for non-teaching Counsellors on our Advanced Studies Program. Counsellors will be responsible for the delivery of a specialist workshop, and therefore must have a background in drama, creative writing, journalism, photography, business or debating. This is a residential role, so Counsellors will also take an active part in pastoral care, activities and excursions.
