Language Study Centres (LSC) is a British Council Accredited provider for the teaching of English in the UK. We provide high quality study programmes and exciting social and cultural programmes for Young Learners and Adults in the UK, the US and across Europe. LSC has been welcoming international students to study English in the UK since the year 2000 and has since then grown and diversified to deliver programmes in the UK, Ireland and USA. English opens many doors in life and we feel privileged to be in a position to help thousands of international students every year by providing them with quality language programmes that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

In 2017, we designed courses for over 150 groups and welcomed students from 26 different countries. Our courses are aimed at young learners who want to combine English language study, activities, skills development and cultural experience. We offer an opportunity to develop language skills and improve confidence by using English in the context of UK and US based immersion programmes as well as an EFL set up in Malta and Spain.

Our philosophy is to educate, encourage and help our students enjoy our course towns. It is often a case of helping students to ‘come out of their shell’, increasing their confidence in using English and providing an opportunity to use it in meaningful situations, both in the classroom and outside while socialising with students from many different countries.

Our dedicated Activity Managers will make sure that students get a varied and interesting social programme, with Activity Leaders bringing their special skills to each session. We also ensure there is a mix of small and large activities, meaning students can be learning a new skill in a small group one night and then taking part in a whole school disco the next.
