Summer Boarding Courses (SBC) provide premier residential summer schools for international students aged between 8-17 years old, wanting to learn English in the UK or study a specialist subject alongside an exciting and varied activity & events programme.
Our programmes take place at six of England’s most prestigious private boarding schools and two of the world’s best universities, combining the charming atmosphere of historic boarding schools with modern facilities and comfortable accommodation. To this, we add fun and creative social and activity programmes, as well as cultural excursions to London and other famous locations in England – all ensuring that students have the time of their lives! SBC has an excellent annual staff returner rate – 88% of our 2019 Management Team having worked for us previously as Managers, Teachers, Activity Leaders, College Mentors and House Parents. This, as well as significant training for all staff, ensures that our staff and students are fully supported and empowered to create a positive and mutually beneficial environment.
