About Crowe Clark Whitehill LLP

We pride ourselves on nurturing talent using on the job training, from school leavers and graduates through to partner development.

We are looking for trainees with the attitude and commitment to meet the needs of our award winning firm. In return, you share in the success of one of the UK’s leading audit, tax and advisory firms. From the way we are structured to the way we invest in people, your career will be driven by our core values of professionalism, integrity, quality, development and approachability.

That investment in people begins from the moment you join us. We pride ourselves on nurturing talent, from our trainees right through to partner progression. We run an extensive training programme which combines practical skills and personal development with the best in technical education, introducing the next generation to the accountancy profession.

Our firm won Pensions Accountancy Firm of the year in 2014 and we are the UK member of Crowe Horwath International, a network of 200 independent member firms in 671 offices around the world.

Graduate training

Graduates join us on a three-year training programme, delivering audit, accounting and advisory services to clients, while studying to obtain the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification provided by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

School leaver training

Our school leaver programme lasts up to five years and allows you to combine work experience with study for the Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (CFAB), before giving you the opportunity to progress towards full ACA qualification and becoming a chartered accountant.

Some of our offices also offer the opportunity to study for the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification over a two-year programme, with the possibility of AAT fast-track training to ACA for the right person.

Personal development supported by in-house training

Throughout your career we will support and help you develop your role. We provide in-house training to complement your examination study. These courses continue throughout your professional career to build your technical and personal skills.

Work experience and on the job training

You have ongoing support and mentoring from the firm and your counselling partner. Our client group is hugely diverse, which means that you will be able to work on different types of assignments and clients, helping you to decide where you want to take your career.

Once you are qualified

You can build your career with us, maybe choosing to specialise in one of our particular service areas, or taking an international secondment with a member firm in the Crowe Horwath International network. Your career path will be tailored to you. We take the time to understand your particular hopes and goals and promote a culture of support which allows you to be challenged while feeling valued.
