Magical Maths is a six week program with a different theme each week. Each week has a single, one hour session and covers a variety of educational topics in a fun and exciting way. The clubs include some dressed up characters that will visit the schools from week to week, including a maths detective, a maths genius, the mathletes, and a mathemagician. Here’s a rundown of the themes for each week: Week one: Meet the maths detective
Week two: Become a maths genius
Week three: Meet the mathemagician
Week four: Olympic mathletics
Week five: Puzzles and Games
Week six: Vote for your favourite to return
You will generally be working in teams to run the clubs, so feel free to apply as an individual or as a team if there are people you would like to work with! You will be provided with the Magical Maths content and materials to run the clubs.

Please also include indicate whether you meet the following criteria:
• A DBS certificate is essential – you may already have one or you can apply for one through us.
• You will have a GCSE Grade "C" or above in maths.
• You will have experience of working with children.
• You must be willing to travel to schools around Birmingham
• Access to a car is useful.
• We go into Primary Schools after school and run a 1 hour fun maths class, usually around 3:30 - 4:30 though some schools have different times. You must be available from 2:30pm onwards.
• We want people who can work 1 or more afternoons a week.
• You must be impeccably reliable and punctual.
