Company Details

Brewers Fayre is a chain of restaurants situated around the United Kingdom and they have one simple aim: “To serve our guests the nation’s favourite pub food at great value prices, in a family-friendly environment.” Founded in 1979 and with headquarters in Dunstable, these days, there are numerous Brewers Fayre restaurants around Britain’s villages, towns and cities and they are part of the Whitbread Group Plc. Many of the Brewers Fayre outlets are on the site of a Premier Inn hotel which are also a part of the Whitbread Group.

Brewers Fayre aim to create an informal, relaxed atmosphere so that families can go along to restaurants without having to book a table and chill out whilst the restaurant staff look after their needs. A varied menu means there should be something to suit all tastes.

Part time jobs working in restaurants can be perfect as student jobs as you are often called on to work flexible hours and also work at evenings and weekends. This can be fitted in around study time and extra hours can be added to shifts during summer holidays and Christmas holidays when the restaurants can be busier. Brewers Fayre jobs are all about making sure guests have a fantastic experience with excellent service so that they return to the restaurants time and time again.

Team Member positions are likely to be entry level jobs that will suit both students and school leavers and will include various duties of catering jobs. Waiting on tables, setting tables, bar jobs, keeping serving areas clean and making sure customers are happy.

For those with more experience, supervisory roles and restaurant management positions could be worth considering. These types of restaurant jobs and careers might suit those of you who have studied hospitality and catering at college or university.

When working for Brewers Fayre, you will be employed by the Whitbread Group. They are constantly on the lookout for people who are genuine, confident and committed so if this sounds like you, Brewers Fayre jobs could be right up your street. There are plenty of opportunities to train and develop within the company so that you can learn new skills and progress through the company if you wish to develop a full time career in catering. As well as front of house jobs, Brewers Fayre careers can also be kitchen jobs and, of course, Whitbread head office careers.

With Brewers Fayre restaurants situated all over England, Wales and Scotland, there could well be an eatery close to where you live. If there aren’t any Brewers Fayre restaurants in your locality, perhaps there are other Whitbread restaurant job opportunities available with restaurants such as Beefeater Grill, team member roles with coffee chain, Costa, or hotel jobs with Premier Inn. Whitbread also offers three different graduate programmes for those who might not be interested in front of house roles: Finance, Human Resources and Operations.

For senior roles such as restaurant management jobs and graduate programmes, vacancies for these positions are advertised as and when they are available on the Whitbread website. However, if you are looking for student jobs such as part time bar work, waiting on tables or kitchen jobs, and you have a Brewers Fayre close to where you live or where you are studying, then drop into the restaurant with your CV and arrange a chat with the restaurant manager or whoever is in charge.

Restaurant jobs can make great student jobs not just for the flexible hours they offer but also because of the potential for tips on top of your regular wages. If you think you’ve got what it takes to work for the Whitbread Group, then get yourself to your local restaurant to see if there are any vacancies. If you can’t find what you are looking for, then don’t worry because E4S also advertise a whole variety of catering jobs that could suit you.
