Fenwick is a British department store that is well known for its quality goods. The company has a rich heritage and was founded back in 1882 by John James Fenwick in his home city of Newcastle upon Tyne. To this day, the Fenwick flagship store still stands on the site where the first store opened.

Fenwick started out specialising in quality tailoring for ladies but when Le Bon Marche became famous as a department store in Paris, Fred Fenwick went to the French capital to learn about how the store was working. Fenwick opened its flagship department store in Brent Cross shopping centre in London. Today, Fenwick is still owned by the Fenwick family with Mark Fenwick as the chairman.
