Cotton Traders is a well known clothing company based in the northwest of England in Altrincham near Manchester. The brand, which has become a household name, was founded in 1987 by Fran Cotton and Steve Smith. Both Fran Cotton and Steve Smith were members of the England rugby union team and so Cotton Traders is perhaps most famous for its rugby union clothing and quality t-shirts. Today, the company employs more than 1,000 staff.
