H. Samuel is a UK jewellery chain owned by the Signet Group, which is also the parent of the slightly more exclusive Ernest Jones jewellery brand.

H. Samuel actually has a very long history beginning in the North West of England. The jeweller started out in the 1860s when Harriet (she of the H.) took over the running of her father in law’s clock making venture in Liverpool. The firm developed in Manchester and there were soon branches of H. Samuel in Preston, Rochdale and other high street of the North West.

H. Samuel sells jewellery, diamonds, watches, collectibles, wedding items and gifts. They retail from around 300 stores in the United Kingdom and also have stores in the Republic of Ireland.
