Who is M&G?

M&G is one of Europe’s leading asset management firms. We are responsible for investing over £200 billion [1] worth of assets on behalf of retail and institutional clients based in the UK, Europe and Asia. Our expertise is built on more than 80 years of investment experience, dating back to the launch of the UK’s first unit trust in 1931.

As part of the Prudential Group, M&G is an autonomous business investing in a wide range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, property and multi asset throughout the world. We are also experts in a number of specialist investment areas including hybrid securities, leveraged finance, structured credit products and infrastructure finance.

In recent years M&G has enjoyed a remarkable period of growth and now ranks first in the UK in terms of retail and institutional funds under management [2].

What is different about an Internship or Placement at M&G?

From day one you'll be treated as a key member, taking an active and productive role. Whilst we take on only a small number of Interns and Placement students, we are keen to establish them into our teams as key resources. You will be aligned to one of the departments. This will ensure you have not only a good foundation, but specific knowledge to advance your career.

Over the course of your internship or placement we will provide you with the opportunity to explore the way the M&G business is run, interact with people in all departments and at all levels, allowing you to develop a wide range of skills and competencies within your chosen area. You will also receive a competitive salary throughout your time at M&G.
