Some things will never change, like the playful nature of children the world over. Children are adorable, mischievous, vibrant, energetic and are our future. Unfortunately some of our next generation are underprivileged and deprived of the basic needs of life.

Green Era is an International Charity Organisation that is working to provide the basic necessities of life for underprivileged children, and helping with the betterment and growth of young adults in impoverished communities.

Based in London, United Kingdom, Green Era has dual focus areas. Locally Green Era is working to start running awareness programmes on Sexually Transmitted Diseases and teenage pregnancies, and to help in the organisation of STD check up clinics. Abroad Green Era works in areas of Bangladesh, India and Nepal in a slightly different capacity, helping those who struggle with life everyday by providing basic requirements such as fresh water, food, clothes, medicine and in particular education and educational resources.

Both locally and internationally the common focus is on youth with a heavy emphasis on education. In international projects Green Era plays the role of a facilitator for community development, providing and assisting with the provision of education and vocational training, health awareness and service, nutrition, counselling, emergency relief, fund raising and socio-economic development regardless of caste, colour, sex creed, race and religion

Aims and Objectives:

  • Providing vulnerable children facilities such as: fresh water, nutrition, education and health care to ensure their growth and nourishment.
  • Providing professional and vocational training to communities to help give young adults the opportunity to participate in the development of their respective society.
  • Educating deprived communities about their rights.
  • Raising awareness amongst local authorities and government bodies of issues surrounding the protection, health, education and treatment of poor communities.

Our proposed new Charitable Objectives are;

a) “To provide the educational, medical and health information needs of multi-cultural communities through a virtual network of professional service providers and organizations providing health educational programmes and pioneering new solutions for general wellbeing.”

b) “To create an awareness programme of Sexual Transmitted Disease (STD) and teenage pregnancies for the benefit of young adults in London and Bangladesh.”

c) “To relief illness and distress, the preservation of health and provide medical support for the children who are born with congenital difficulties”.

d) “To support with medical help and relieve poverty in the countries affected by natural disaster i.e. cyclone, flood, earthquake or tsunami by providing relief and help to develop a sustainable development work which could restore the social system.”

e) “To relieve poverty, hardship, distress and suffering in any part of the world.”
