Company DetailsWe specialise in advanced scientific instrumentation for nanotechnology research and development. Our product range includes a family of magneto-optical Kerr effect magnetometers (NanoMOKE3) and a family of direct-write optical lithography machines (MicroWriter ML). DMO was founded in 2002 as a spin-off company from Professor Russell Cowburn FRS’s nanomagnetism research group in Durham University Physics Department, UK. During 21 years of successful trading since then, DMO has deployed over 200 machines worldwide and has grown to become an international company with offices in Cambridge, UK and Raleigh-Durham, USA. We have a global network of sales and support staff provided by the well known scientific instrumentation company Quantum Design. Our UK office is located in the so-called ‘Cambridge Cluster’ area of the UK, which is home to a large number of high tech businesses focused on software, electronics and biotechnology, including Arm and AstraZeneca, as well as the internationally renowned Cambridge University. Our US office is located in North Carolina’s Research Triangle, in the Raleigh-Durham area and close to Duke University. Between these two sites we have a research-focused team of 15 knowledgeable and enthusiastic people as well as dedicated premises for the construction and testing of instruments. |
