Company DetailsAs a street fundraiser working directly for the Red Cross, you will get the best training, mentoring and support throughout your career. With our network of over 21,500 UK volunteers, the British Red Cross reach over 400,000 people in the UK every year. From providing practical support to the mainstream ambulance services, right through to dropping in on an elderly person on a lonely cold winter's night, Red Cross volunteers are always in the right place at the right time. In Europe last year over 350,000 people crossed the Mediterranean and we are in the midst of one of the biggest humanitarian disasters of all time. The Red Cross are providing vital supplies, such as food, water and health care, as we have for over 150 years – and so it’s a very busy time. So now, more than ever, it is vital that we are engaging the public in these issues and mobilizing the power of humanity to raise funds and make a difference. So we are looking to expand and recruit new fundraisers across the UK. Joining a team of some of the most inspirational people you are ever likely to meet, you will take to various high streets in your area and inspire the British public to help fund Red Cross's vital work. The successful candidates will be the kind of people who love to talk about their passions. They will prefer the outdoors to corporate office environment. Charismatic, driven and passionate, the right candidates will be thick skinned and determined to make a real difference. Whilst past fundraising, sales or promotions experience is welcome, it's definitely not essential as full training will be provided. Hours : Mon-Fri. Daytime or Evenings. Full or Part Time. |
