We can only achieve our goals with the right people, who commit to and retain our high standards. That’s why at Otis, we choose to train our own talent through our UKI Apprenticeship Programme. Our 3-year* training programme will allow you to earn whilst you learn, gaining an NVQ 3 lift qualification, plus escalators/stairlifts accreditation, alongside achieving a technical certificate. During the working week, apprentices work alongside experienced engineers and fitters out in the field and complete off-the-job learning, including in-house technical training.
Our Lift & Escalator Apprenticeship Programme is the most comprehensive in UK and Ireland and provides our aspiring engineers the knowledge, skills and confidence to work on a wide range of equipment, often in some pretty spectacular settings.
Your learning journey also continues long after you complete your apprenticeship. Otis believes in investing in their people and will support your professional development and career aspirations. Taking an apprenticeship with Otis provides long-term career opportunities within other areas of the business, should you wish to diversify later. These can include Health & Safety, Technical Training, Sales or Management.
If you would like to register interest in an Engineering Apprenticeship with Otis, we would love to hear from you. There is no need to have any engineering qualifications already, but you will need 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C/ Grade 4 and above, including Maths, English, ICT and a STEM subject at the point of application.
