For you to make a good hourly rate, it is important to have a fast typing speed. I would recommend getting your speed up to around 70wpm . You will also need transcription software, a foot pedal and a good set of headphones also goes a long way. High levels of grammar and literacy are a prerequisite, and having good attention to detail is also important.
