About us
Our unique internship with TEFL certification enables you to gain your accredited Certificate whilst gaining first hand teaching experience. Most TEFL providers only offer a Certificate which is not enough in the eyes of prospective TEFL employers. Employers will require experience, a TEFL certificate, and a university degree. We offer Semester 1 or Semester 2 (or both) internships under Erasmus. As a university student you choose the length of your placement. The teaching internship requires a commitment of 30 hours a week, of teaching practice, and between 1 and 10 hours per week, of studying. In order to become certified, you will need to complete all 3 learning blocks: - teaching practice n Spain > with all the lesson plans provided and support from your headteacher on site, teaching 1to1 classes to adults, but also other formats if you apply for Barcelona. - 6 written assignments (400 words each on your teaching internship) > we provide guidelines and support, and - 6 final exams online (on theory and terminology) > which you must complete before the teaching internship.
