We are the RNLI: the charity that saves lives at sea.
Every day of every year, people of all backgrounds get into danger in the water. It’s a problem that we’re here to tackle
Our crews and lifeguards have saved over 141,500 lives since the RNLI was formed in 1824. And we have ambitious future plans. The RNLI aims to halve UK and Ireland coastal drowning by 2024 – and reduce drowning around the world, where it’s a major risk.
We’re looking for people to help us make the water a safer place for everyone. People who can explain the risks, share safety knowledge, and rescue people whose lives are in danger.
In return, you’ll get to spend your summer on the beach, where you’ll be working as part of a great team, gaining vital skills and getting paid a good hourly wage.
