Postgraduate fair comes to Manchester University leavers concerned about the availability of graduate IT jobs in the UK may be interested to hear a postgraduate fair is coming to Manchester city centre.

The Postgraduate Study Fair, which will be held between 10:30 and 16:00 GMT on Wednesday, November 19th, claims to be one of the key events of the academic year for anyone considering furthering their studies.

Held at Manchester's G-Mex Centre, the event is in its 15th year and more than 2,000 students from universities up and down the country are expected to attend.

Jane Ratchford, organiser of the event and director of the University of Manchester’s Careers & Employability Division, said: "The Postgraduate Study Fair gives students and graduates from all institutions access to a massive range of exciting opportunities for study and funding."

The fair will feature 90 exhibitors including British institutions as well as representatives from Australia, America, Germany, The Netherlands and Ireland.

In related news, new rules for foreign students from outside the European Union mean they will have to be sponsored by British universities which have acquired a licence from the UK Border Agency.
