Discount hotel chain Travelodge, based in Thame, is creating 500 new full and part time hotel jobs across the United Kingdom.

Travelodge, which already employs around 10,000 people in the UK, Ireland and Spain, is increasing its headcount by 5 per cent in a recruitment drive to fill hundreds of new jobs across the country.

The chain has almost 600 hotels across its three territories and is now looking to add to its staffing levels in the UK.

170 of the new jobs will be based in London and a further 30 will be at Travelodge’s head offices in Thame, Oxfordshire.

The remaining 300 vacancies will be spread out throughout other parts of the UK including nine hotels in the Lake District, Cumbria and nineteen in the North East.

Just some of the hundreds of vacancies on offer at Travelodge include roles such as:

- Assistant Hotel Manager
- Hotel Supervisor
- Hotel Team Member
- Housekeeping Team Member
- Kitchen and Bar Café Team Member
- Night Reception Team Member
- Part-time Night Reception Team Member
- Reception Team Member

Some of the vacancies on offer are entry level positions via the company’s Aspire in-house training programme.
