Haven Holidays has announced plans to create 400 new seasonal jobs across its five sites in Yorkshire.

The travel company, which operates almost 40 holiday parks at mostly coastal locations around the United Kingdom, is on a recruitment drive for hundreds of staff for its 2022 season.

And Yorkshire is one of the main regions which will benefit from a jobs boost in a continuing trend for UK-based holidays.

The seasonal roles in Yorkshire will be a mix of full and part time positions - and a range of vacancies will be on offer, including:

• bar work

• chef jobs

• cleaning positions

• food & beverage vacancies

• front of house positions

• lifeguard jobs

• reception vacancies

• security roles

For many of the roles you don’t even need any previous work experience so these should be fantastic opportunities for students and other young people looking to get a foothold in the world of tourism.

The 400 Yorkshire vacancies at Haven Holidays will be split between the firm’s sites at:

• Blue Dolphin, Filey

• Far Grange, Skipsea

• Primrose Valley, Filey

• Reighton Sands, Filey

• Thornwick Bay, Flamborough

Announcing the recruitment drive for their 2022 season, the general manager for Haven’s Blue Dolphin park in Filey, Nick Cook, said:

“Our team is a huge part of what makes Haven the leading UK holiday operator and we have a number of exciting job opportunities available. If you’re passionate about helping people have great holidays and brilliant memories, then we would love to hear from you.”

“There are so many different roles available, from working in our bars and restaurants to lifeguards in our pools. We can provide full training and support and flexible hours to work around family life, so it’s a great time to join the team,” added Mr Cook.

If you are interested in any of the roles on offer at Haven in Yorkshire then the holiday firm will be hosting a recruitment day at Primrose Valley Holiday Park in Filey this Saturday (19th February 2022) from 10 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon.

At the open day you’ll be able to chat to current team members from Haven’s Yorkshire parks - and entry to the recruitment day is completely free.

Haven Holidays provides jobs for more than 2,800 people across its UK portfolio of caravan and camping sites, as well as at its head office in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
