AND Digital has announced expansion plans for Scotland which will see the firm create 100 new full or part time jobs in Glasgow.

The data and tech firm launched its Scottish operations last year by opening new offices in Edinburgh, an opening gambit that also created 100 jobs at the time.

The tech consultancy specialist, which helps businesses in various sectors such as hospitality and financial services, is setting up a new base (or ‘club house’ as AND like to say) at Glasgow’s George Square.

Some of the positions on offer at AND Digital over the next twelve months in the Scottish city will include jobs for designers, developer roles and analysts.

AND Digital’s registered office is in Maidenhead, but outside of Scotland the company also has bases in London, Manchester, Reading, Leeds and Halifax. They are also due to launch new offices in Amsterdam next month.

Announcing their expansion in Scotland, AND Digital’s founder and Chief Executive Officer, Paramjit Uppal, said: “Scottish businesses have shown tremendous grit and determination over the past 12 months as they have sought to reconcile their business models to the difficulties posed by the pandemic.

“However, we’ve been fortunate to work with clients of all shapes and sizes who have pivoted towards the new opportunities digital offers. Scotland is an important market for us and we are confident in its very bright future. Glasgow is the obvious next step for us.”

“We launched our Edinburgh club on the cusp of the first lockdown and have built it from the ground up working remotely as a club and with our clients. While we look forward to reopening our club houses and seeing each other in person when it is safe to do so, we are well placed to launch Glasgow to our blended working environment. It works for us and our clients,” added Mr Uppal.
