Moneypenny, a leading name in the communications outsourcing sector, is creating 100 new full or part time jobs in Wrexham.

The company, which has its headquarters in the Welsh town, is expanding its operations and is now looking for dozens of Live Chat team members and Personal Assistants.

Moneypenny provides customer communications service to over 20,000 businesses worldwide and employs around 1,100 members of staff in Wrexham and at its US base in Atlanta, Georgia.

Their clients include npower, Lansdown Mazda, Total Fitness, Vets4Pets and many more famous names.

There are currently around 850 people working for Moneypenny in Wrexham, so the new round of recruitment will see the company increase its headcount in the Welsh town by more than 12 per cent.

Moneypenny is a regular fixture in ‘The Sunday Times Best Companies To Work For’ and has seen its business grow since the start of the pandemic, recruiting 350 new staff since March last year.

Since Coronavirus struck, the company has seen demand for its Live Chat services double, whilst also answering a fifth more phone calls for clients.

Announcing the push for new staff in Wrexham, Joanna Swash, the Chief Executive Officer for the Moneypenny Group, said: “We are looking forward to onboarding our new recruits and one of our key strengths at Moneypenny is our unique insight into clients needs coupled with the best people and technology offering.”
