Civica Creating 100 Work-From-Home Call Centre Jobs In Hull

Civica, a global software and customer services firm which specialises in the public sector, is creating 100 new work-from-home call centre jobs in Hull.

The jobs are being created as Civica continues its partnership with Hull Cİty Council, a joint enterprise which has already seen the company generate over 150 new apprenticeships and other opportunities in the last five years.

Civica’s operations for Hull City Council are based at the Kingston Centre on Guildhall Road but the latest recruits will supply customer services remotely as part of the company’s outsourcing efforts for the council.

The good news for Hull residents follows just a month after we brought you the news that ResQ, in partnership with Vodafone UK, was creating 120 new call centre jobs in the East Yorkshire city.

Commenting on the ongoing partnership with Hull City Council, Civica UK’s Divisional Managing Director, Paul Mason, said: “Civica has a strong track record in helping to deliver improved public services and better outcomes for people and communities, including sustaining the delivery of services during the tough times of 2020 via our remote and OnDemand capabilities.”

“We look forward to building on this and the success of the Kingston Centre partnership with Hull to support those most in need,” added Mr Mason.

Hull City Council’s Deputy Leader, Councillor Daren Hale, also commented, saying: “We are delighted that this fantastic partnership with Civica, a real global leader in its field, will see the creation of dozens of new jobs in the city. The partnership’s innovative approach to customer service is already ensuring residents can access the right information and services more efficiently online.”

“Now more than ever, these home-based jobs will give a much-needed boost to families in the city who might be finding it difficult during the current measures,” added Cllr Hale.
