Window and door specialist Safestyle UK is creating dozens of new full and part time jobs in Nottingham.

The company has 70 vacancies on offer at a new depot in Nottingham and has already started recruiting for staff to fill the roles.

Set to open in the next few days, the new depot is at Nottingham’s Glaisdale Parkway and roles on offer include admin staff, drivers and recyclers as well as more specialist positions such as installers and managerial vacancies.

The 1,500 square metre facility in Nottingham will allow Safestyle UK to fit up to 600 extra windows and doors in the area. It follows the opening of two other depots by the firm in 2020, one in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and the other at Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

Announcing the new vacancies in the city, Safestyle UK’s manager of national operations, Steve Caves, said: “Nottingham is a great location for the new Safestyle depot and was chosen specifically because of its central location and excellent transport links.”

“This has been a challenging year for the whole country so we’re particularly pleased to be opening our Nottingham depot just before Christmas and creating around 70 new jobs in the local economy,” added Mr Caves.
