The Government’s DIT department are looking for a trainee to join their International Trade Development Programme in London and are paying up to £34,173 per year.

This is a role which is tailor made for both school leavers and graduates alike and promises to be a very rewarding and interesting stage of your career.

The two year programme consists of four six months blocks, each of which will make your CV the envy of your peers and give you the perfect skill set to move into your next job with ease.

Your first year will be split half and half between the Trade Policy Group (TPG) and the Global Trade and Investment (GTI) team in London.

Your second year will start with a six month overseas placement, supporting UK trade policy, exports and investment at one of the DIT’s 127 offices worldwide.

Your final six months will target your future career aspirations, so you’ll be working with another hand-picked UK team, preparing you for your next international trade job.

Throughout the programme you’ll be at the heart of things; researching and developing new policy thinking, building relationships with contacts in partner markets and working with stakeholders across government and beyond.
